Hope4Heroes

Hope4Heroes was founded by Veterans to support Veterans and families in the following program areas for 2011: Awareness events in local communities, Scholarships for kids and spouses of fallen and wounded heroes, Jobs and small business training programs for veterans and families, and partner relationships with companies hiring veterans and families or franchise a business programs empowering our veterans and families.  2011 is the year of jobs and small business for veterans and families of all generations. Our legends events raise awareness in communities!

Focus areas to also include youth sports programs for impoverished kids via our Hope4kids Program.  Your support and donations of gently used sports equipment can make a lasting impact in the life of a child. Our kids clinics support this program.
 
According to the US Census Bureau,
35.9 million people live below the poverty line in America, including 12.9 million children.  These families and kids must choose food or shoes over sports in most cases.  Yet sports programs keep kids off drugs and out of gangs according to most studies.  Working with you we will tackle this issue head on at our games and through our events to give more kids HOPE!  We will be paying for kids sports clinics across the country via this program and your s

Project Hope:  This is our 2011 core focus, touring the country with MLB and NFL legends to raise funds and awareness for our nations combat heroes and thier families. We will partner veteran mentors with kids and companies with veterans via the www.woundedheroesbaseball.com national tour.  The tour is a:
- Career EXPO
- Youth sports and equipment collection point
- Mentor development Project
- Community social cause event
