Silver Eagle Partners with Missions to Help Troops06/06/2011 4:23 PM ET Budweiser invites you to join them in making a difference in the lives of military heroes and their families. Budweiser and Silver Eagle Distributors announce 'Here's to the Heroes' program - a nation-wide effort to raise up to $2 million in support of the Folds of Honor Foundation (FOH). FOH is an organization that provides scholarships for families of U.S. military personnel killed or disabled while serving their country. FOH will receive 10 cents for every case equivalent of Budweiser sold from Memorial Day through July 10th in the San Antonio area; and locally through Silver Eagle Distributors' partnership with the San Antonio Missions, Silver Eagle will donate $100 for every home run hit in Wolff Stadium to Hope4Heroes during the 2011 Minor League Baseball regular season. Johnstone also announced the first ever Wounded Heroes Baseball Classic coming to San Antonio on Sept. 4, 2010 at Wolff Stadium. We are excited to say we are expanding our Hope4Kids programs and gave a nice donation to the South San Antonio, ISD to support their athletic programs. We are expanding our scholarship programs to offer “non-traditional” opportunities to the children of fallen heroes and first responders. We will be offering grants that support the following areas for these children that have suffered the biggest loss of all, a parent supporting our country. -Drivers ed for families in need of a second income earner -Tutition to kids 12 and under that are dealing with learning issues related to post loss depression and emotional suffering from the loss of a parent -Non-traditional education for career schools and certifcation required to gain employment | AuthorVictor Luebker is a 22 year retired veteran, author, coach and publice speaker and the Chairman of Hope4heroes.
